FutureMidwest (formerly Module Conference)

FutureMidwest consists of three programs that go hand-in-hand. During the Friday day program, professionals with extensive digital, marketing and strategic backgrounds will teach attendees how to successfully implement digital strategies into their marketing and business communication. Speakers will then empower attendees to apply what they learned during the Saturday breakout sessions. Friday’s evening program will be full of energy and entertainment for networking with professionals from a variety of industries and backgrounds.

Social Media Club Detroit

Don’t let the name fool you, Social Media Club is for anyone who plays, works, and explores the digital landscape: journalists, publishers, communications professionals, artists, amateur media creators, citizen journalists, filmmakers, teachers, students, tool makers, and other interested collaborators from southeast Michigan.

SMC – Detroit’s primary mission is to connect the active hubs and professionals in our area while also helping promote social media literacy, technologies, and encourage ethical behavior and share best practices. Monthly meetings will consist of topics discussion, presentations, panels or featured speakers.

#tweetea

A weekly event that is basically a “mini-tweetup,” #tweetea is the longest-running weekly tweetup in Metro Detroit.  #Tweetea is usually held on Tuesdays at Goldfish Tea in Royal Oak, but has been taken to places like Vintner’s Cellar (Royal Oak) and Claddagh Irish Pub (Livonia).  Regardless of where it is, there is always engaging discussions going on with warm, inviting folks that run the gamut in terms of areas of interest.  #Tweetea attracts everyone from tech geeks to entrepreneurs to personal development gurus.
